How do I configure the light settings?

You will find a collection of light controls located to the right of the steering wheel. Here you can manually turn the headlights off, activate the side lights or low-beam headlights. For maximum convenience, it is recommended to switch the lights to the automatic mode. The car will monitor the ambient brightness and automatically switch the low-beam headlights on and off as required. The fog lights can be turned on and off at the touch of a button, and when the side lights or low-beam headlights are on, the brightness of the in-car displays can be adjusted by rolling the wheel dial up or down. The headlights can be turned to full-beam by using the appropriate stork behind the steering wheel. Interior reading lights can be turned on or off using the buttons just above the rear view mirror. In addition, various lighting preferences can be configured from within your BMW’s settings menu.

How do I manually adjust my wing mirrors?

Your BMW’s side mirrors can be electronically adjusted using the button located on the inside of the driver’s door. First, switch the toggle to the left or the right to select which mirror you would like to adjust. The angle of the mirror can then be moved up, down, left or right using the corresponding arrows on the adjustment button. The rear view mirror can be easily adjusted by hand to achieve the desired position.

How do I adjust my folding wing mirrors?

Your BMW’s side mirrors can be electronically adjusted using the button located on the inside of the driver’s door. First, switch the toggle to the left or the right to select which mirror you would like to adjust. The angle of the mirror can then be moved up, down, left or right using the corresponding arrows on the adjustment button. Leaving the toggle in the right hand position enables the convenient auto-dip feature. When reverse gear is selected, the passenger mirror will automatically tilt downwards to give a better view of the curb and any surrounding obstacles. Toggling the switch to the left will disengage this feature. The wing mirrors can be folded in by either pressing the fold button on the driver’s door or pressing and holding the lock button the key fob. The rear view mirror can be easily adjusted by hand to achieve the desired position.
