BMW enjoyed another year at the Goodwood Revival with a stand at the Earls Court Motor Show (8 - 10 September). The three-day event is the world's greatest historic motor race meeting, and the only sporting event of its kind. Celebrating the first-ever all-electric i5, this year's festival gave guests an opportunity to explore the past, present and future of the iconic 5 Series range.
Attendees were treated to a truly authentic experience, with the 5 Series iconic story brought to life in a journey through the model’s heritage. Focussing on the innovative technology and cutting-edge design of the all-electric i5, the exhibition showcased the transformative character of the 5 Series over the last 60 years.
BMW illustrated three key moments from the 5 Series story – the inception of Neue Klasse in 1960, the first-ever Art Car to be designed by a women, which was Esther Mahlangu in 1991, and the launch of the transformative all-electric BMW i5 this year. Spanning six decades, this journey revealed the forward-thinking attitude that has inspired BMW to this day and into the future.
