The “Heart of Joy” is a new central super-computer created by BMW that combines driving functions into one powerful unit. This innovative control unit has been tested in a special test vehicle called the BMW Vision Driving Experience, which is designed to test it to its limits. Although this test rig won’t be used for regular production, the technology from the “Heart of Joy” was included in all fully electric Neue Klasse vehicle (pictured). It can process information ten times faster than older systems, managing functions like the drivetrain, brakes, and steering, which will greatly enhance the overall driving experience.
