The British GQ’s annual luxury summit – GQ Heroes in association with BMW – will return for another year of inspired talks and presentations in Oxfordshire. Taking place from Wednesday the 19th to Friday the 21st of July 2023, the event will explore and debate the relationship between luxury, media, music, art, television, wellness and mental health.
As part of the VIP exprience, guests are invited to enjoy immersive entertainment in the BMW i7 M70 and the incredible sound within the BMW XM, BMW's first electrified hybrid M car.
GQ 2023 GUEST LIST.
On stage will be an extraordinary group of contemporary entertainment icons, fashion designers, wellness trailblazers, comedians, politicians, sports personalities, international bestselling authors, film stars and activists, as well as an unprecedented collection of CEOs, digital disruptors and industry leaders from the world of luxury and beyond. As VIP guests, they will enjoy being chauffeured to the event in BMWs.
Speakers include Chris Hemsworth, Bryan Cranston, Yasmin Finney, Thom Browne, Will Poulter, Martine Rose, Chris Eubank Jr and Jake Daniels, among many others. Talks will range from on-stage interviews and panels to more intimate discussions, after-dinner speaking and special musical performances.
A PROUD PARTERNSHIP.
A BMW Panel will also be exploring the latest partnership with British Film Institute (BFI). Hosted by Edith Bowman and speaking to Film Director Asif Kapadia (one of the judges), it will shine a light on the recently launched BMW Filmmaking Challenge in partnership with the BFI.
Inspired by the ground-breaking all-electric BMW i7 and its ultra-wide 31.3-inch rear-passenger theatre screen, the challenge has five shortlisted filmmaking teams that have been given a budget to produce their films. Recently announced high-profile judges – Ncuti Gatwa, Terri White, and Asif Kapadia – will select the final winner in September, ahead of the 67th BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express.
Emmy-award winning writer, director and actress Michaela Coel has mentored the shortlisted filmmakers, while also starring in a 90-second promotional film featuring the all-electric BMW i7.
