BMW SAVs and SACs.

Take the rough with the smooth.

BMW Sports Activity Coupés (SACs) and Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs) are strong, capable, spacious, and ready to go off the beaten track. They bring superior driving dynamics, a commanding view of the road and a premium feel to the driving experience. What’s more, they also ensure that emissions are remarkably low, which is made possible with BMW TwinPower Turbo engines and BMW EfficientDynamics technology.

The BMW Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) and Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) both have what is expected of an SUV; they can seat five or more people, have off-road vehicle features, and come with the all-wheel drive system xDrive.

But what’s the difference? SAVs – BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X5, BMW X7 – boast a more off-road character, and complement this with practicability, with large spaces in the interior, and good accessibility. While SACs – BMW X2, BMW X4 and BMW X6 – feature a more edgy design language, with a slightly more sporty seat position and a lower coupé roofline.

Smaller models, with just as much go.

Traditionally, the concept of an off-road vehicle is large and bulky, but this isn’t always the case. BMW offers a range of smaller models , such as the BMW X2, that provide everything expected in a larger car but with the benefit of a smaller design concept. The combination of flowing aerodynamic lines and a high driving position create a driving experience that really is the best of both worlds.
