Jason Atherton and his wife Irha launched their flagship London restaurant, Pollen Street Social in April 2011, which was awarded Michelin star within six months of opening. Since then, they opened The Social Company which has grown into a global restaurant group, winning multiple awards and accolades for their contribution to the UK restaurant scene.
They now operate eight venues across London, three of which hold Michelin stars. A further nine international outposts in Shanghai, the Philippines, Doha, St Moritz, Dubai as well as the Michelin-starred restaurant, The Clocktower, in New York City.
Jason demonstrates frequently on television food shows in the UK and abroad, being a regular guest on Saturday Kitchen and Sunday Brunch. In June 2008, Jason won the hugely popular third series of BBC2’s Great British Menu. In 2019 Jason released the BBC Two series, The Chef’s Brigade.
