BMW ANNOUNCES LINE-UP FOR GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED.

With the theme of Speed Kings: Motorsports Record Breakers, the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed is set to be an explosive experience. The two immersive BMW areas – BMW M Town and BMW Boulevard – will showcase the very best of The Ultimate Driving Machine, giving fans the opportunity to get up close to a stunning selection of models. Festival-goers will also get to see BMW partake in the traditional Hill Climb, with two new models taking on the famous ascent.

For high-octane performance, the BMW M Town is the place to be. Formerly known as the BMW Pavilion, this completely redesigned area will be dedicated to everything M and will give fans access to some truly unique models. This will include the BMW Individual M850i Night Sky and the latest BMW M135i, plus a range of iconic cars such as this season’s BTCC BMW 3 Series race car and the legendary BMW M1. Other models include the BMW M2 Competition, BMW M340i, BMW X3 M Competition and the BMW Z4 M40i.

BMW BOULEVARD.

For those wanting to step inside some of BMW’s more extravagant models, the BMW Boulevard, which is located at the Goodwood Stable Yard, will have the first ever M850i Gran Coupé and M8 Competition Convertible, the new BMW X7 M50i, and the latest i8 Roadster. Other showstoppers will include the BMW M760Li and the BMW M8 Gen One Concept car.

THE HILL CLIMB.

The must-see event of Goodwood is always the famous Hill Climb. For this year’s climb, BMW will be entering two new models: the BMW X4 M Competition and the BMW M8 Competition with M Performance accessories, which will include M Performance Pro steering wheel with carbon fibre shift paddles, titanium exhaust system, and a carbon fibre kidney grille. Both models offer a unique take on BMW’s high-performance genes, and are sure to deliver a thrilling performance.
