Originally from Troon in south-west Scotland, Andrew Cotter is well-known as one of the UK’s leading sports broadcasters. Working mostly with the BBC he has established himself as a familiar voice across a number of sports including golf, rugby, tennis and athletics. Among the events he has covered are the 6 Nations, The Masters, The Open and The Ryder Cup as well as Wimbledon and The Boat Race. During 2020 Andrew also became widely known for producing several internet videos based on his dogs, Olive and Mabel, which have had over 45 million views around the world.
One of the proudest moments in his career was leading the commentary on The Opening Ceremony at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
